Free classified sites are dominating the online ad market in Australia

Australia has a booming online market as of now. The scene for the classifieds online has been bright for the last year and a half. In fact selling and buying online is the most preferred way to purchase a particular product. Why so? That is because the ecommerce industry does not accommodate the used items very well. Buyers look for the best discounts and online classified ads work the best in such a situation. Why would somebody go elsewhere, when ad-posting is free on classified sites?

Classifieds online works best for buyers and sellers. Why so? One simple reason would be the fact that advertising is free. There are no hidden charges. In case, there is a charge which has not been specified while registering on the classifieds site, then abandon the site as quickly as possible. It is a scam classifieds site. Free classified sites help you to present your product in the best possible manner. Not only, does it have a wider reach, it also helps you to sell your product at the right price. In case you aren’t aware of what your product should sell for, you can just survey the online classified ads, which are selling the same product. Otherwise, you will have to contact an assessor, who can tell you the depreciated rate.
Buyers however, enjoy the most. Not only do they get to look at a lower-priced market. They also get the best things on offer. Online classifieds are similar to a junkyard sale. You can sometimes strike home in all the second hand rubble.

How to place ads on free classified sites?

Being an advertising professional, I can be sure of one fact – the sudden upsurge in free classified sites is not momentary unlike viral videos. Classified websites will stay as long as people make online purchases. They offer an amazing platform to post ads for free. Also, just because they’re free doesn’t imply that the response generated is any less. If your advertisement is strong and catchy, it can serve the purpose of a print advertisement.

Here’s offering you a few tips on how to place ads:

•    Pay keen attention to the heading: Headings are the first thing that a prospective buyer sees about your ads. If your heading is uninteresting, the buyer won’t even bother to click on your link. To ensure that a buyer clicks on your link, use interesting words such as ‘exclusive’, ‘largest’, ‘first ever’, ‘best’, etc. But make sure you don’t lie!
•    Upload relevant photos: Australia Free classifieds portals offer the provision of uploading images of your product.  If you want to upload a photo but are getting bored to do so, don’t pick up an image somewhere from the internet. Make sure the image you are uploading is relevant and belongs to your product. Else, avoid uploading anything at all.

•    Make your copy worth reading: The longer you can get a prospective buyer hooked to your advertisement copy, the more are your chances of making a sale. Classifieds ads simply work this way! Make sure you take time and draft such a copy that the buyer buys your product immediately.
